What do you suggest for an anti-virus program?

We use AVG anti virus on our shop computers and home PCs for a number of years with much satisfaction. For older, less powerful computers, some find AVG slows down their computer. And for that we suggest Avira anti-virus. Its a fast lightweight anti-virus program. You can find links to both these programs on our downloads page.

Do you fix laptops?

Yes, our experienced technicians can diagnose and repair most problems related to hardware or software.

How much does it cost to repair a laptop?

For problems related to, windows, software or virus issues please see your standard labour pricing. When it comes to hardware problems, our technicians charge $20 for diagnosis and labour fee for replacing or repairing broken parts. But pricing for specific hardware components like, motherboard or broken screens can very in price based on the manufacture and model of the laptop.

I have a "brand" laptop, how much for a screen.

We get asked this a lot, because manufactures like HP, DELL and others sell different models laptop they don't always use the same parts from one model to another. We can almost always find a replacement screen for the specific model of laptop. Show up at the store or call in with the model number and we'll have a go at finding the best priced replacement screen.
